Description

ACE Europe carried out a mid-term review of the VVSG development cooperation program. Through this three-year program, the VVSG supports Flemish cities and municipalities in their further development and professionalisation of a municipal global policy, within the framework of BBC (policy and management cycle for local authorities) and with a view to the realisation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The evaluation had two objectives: to account for the realisation of the planned results and objectives and to learn about the way in which municipalities can integrate the SDG agenda into their policy and how VVSG can support them in this.

Result

Based on the collected data, an analysis of the evaluation was shared with the VVSG and the civil servants in the municipalities. This led to a final report with recommendations for the adjustment of the program.
